I earned my bachelor's degree in Psychology in 2015 and my Master's degree in Social Work in 2018, both at the University of Central Florida. During these years I primarily worked in substance abuse treatment centers using CBT, DBT, ACT, and Mindfulness therapy. I soon realized that addictions are usually linked to trauma and started working at a trauma treatment facility, where I was trained in EMDR, ART, IFS, and Sand tray while working with veterans, first responders, and active duty clients and their spouses.
I have treated people with depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, ADHD, personality disorders, eating disorders, and addictions to alcohol, drugs, sex, porn, shopping, food and more.
I strongly believe in the holistic approach of treating mind and body together and finding a spiritual connection in life. I include mindfulness practice, nutrition and exercise into each treatment plan. I am currently working on my Yoga teacher certification and hope to incorporate this into my practice soon as well.
